Summer is starting to wind down, and the hens seem to know it. Over the past few weeks, our egg production has dropped significantly. We are now getting less than a dozen eggs per day, which is a change from our usual supply.

Some of our hens are broody. What does that mean?

Finding time to pick up fresh eggs can be tricky when your schedule is packed. We've added a self-serve egg stand to make things easier.

It's goose egg time! At Spillanelane, every goose egg comes directly from our two resident geese Emmie and Lucy.

We ended 2025 with a couple of big improvements in our yard.

Happy New Year! How many eggs did we collect this year?
